Christopher Salib, M.D.
Biography
Dr. Salib earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois – Chicago. He then completed a Masters degree at Columbia University in New York City before earning his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. He then completed two years of orthopedic research at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He started his Orthopedic Surgery residency training at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC before completing the entirety of his Orthopaedic Surgery residency training at the Rubin Institute of Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, Maryland. He also completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction of the hip and knee at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.
Dr. Salib continues to engage in research on joint replacement surgery and has published numerous articles in prestigious peer-reviewed journals. He looks forward to helping develop a personalized plan for his patients to address each of their unique needs and lifestyles.
