Artificial Disc Replacement

Depending on your diagnosis, your doctor may recommend disc replacement surgery as an alternative to fusion. Unlike a fusion, which limits range of motion at the location of the diseased disc, replacement of the diseased disc helps you maintain mobility.

Other advantages include:
  • Better range of motion
  • No fusion stiffness
  • Quicker recovery
  • Prevention of future degeneration above or below the diseased disc
